How We Work
We are committed to being a good neighbor and partner to the West Frayser community.
What steps do we take to ensure this?
We recycle up to 55% of all material brought to us!

Since 2008, we have run our facility in West Frayser with a completely clean operational record, having never been cited for violations of state or local regulations. (fines are up to $25,000 per violation)
Our site is randomly inspected 4 times a year by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC).
We also conduct voluntary assessments to ensure noise levels outside the landfill are never louder than that of a lawnmower.
We have also installed a wheel wash so that none of the trucks that enter our facility track any materials back onto the streets of our community.
Water quality checks have been conducted bi-yearly since 2006, and show no impact on the groundwater.
The health department, fire department, and public works perform other onsite environmental monitoring and tests to ensure we are protecting our West Frayser community.
Our Wheel Wash
A recent air quality study showed that dust inside our facility is 4,000 times lower than level allowed by the government.
We are also aware of our local roadways.
The only entrance to the site is from Thomas Street with an exit onto Stage Road ensuring that traffic will only enter the site on major roadways.
